In this workshop, Catherine will be exploring ways to help you understand, engage and work with clients who present with an eating disorder. 

Therapy for eating disorders needs specialist knowledge and this workshop is an introduction to this complex area. The training is ideal for many professions, but may also suit others who are interested in learning more.

  • the factors involved in developing and maintaining eating disorders.

  • building confidence in your professional role to support people affected by eating disorders.
  • different treatment options and therapeutic methods.
  • case studies and how to deal with a challenging situation.
  • sharing your own personal experiences with your client group with eating disorders.
