On Sunday 22^nd March 2009 , Ellen Porteous and friend Jane Chedzoy embarked on their long journey down to Morocco, hitch-hiking all the way to raise money for Somerset and Wessex Eating Disorders Association!

Through her own personal experience with an eating disorder, Ellen wanted to give something back to SWEDA who helped her to full recovery. With the help of her friend Jane, who witnessed first hand Ellen's struggle, the aim was to raise as much as possible so that SWEDA can continue to help sufferers and carers all over Somerset as well as raise awareness of the work SWEDA carries out.
